More than a show – a journey through North Africa
ORIENTALIA – Les Légendes du Sahara is far more than a show: it is a captivating journey through North Africa. Live music, dance, acrobatics, magic, rhythm, spectacular costumes and cultural traditions come together in a major theatrical experience.
Among the production’s special highlights are ATLAS OUJDA NOUVA from Oujda, Morocco – an ensemble of cultural pioneers from Oujda – and Magic Simo & Gnawa Ensemble from Tangier, Morocco. Together they bring distinctive musical and artistic traditions of North Africa to the stage.
Each ensemble can present a complete ORIENTALIA programme of up to two hours on its own, or several ensembles can unite for one large-scale production.
The ORIENTALIA artist pool now includes more than 65 performers. The production can be adapted to the venue and event format, from a complete cast of 8 artists to a spectacular production featuring more than 65 performers.
No stage is too small – and no stage is too big. ORIENTALIA grows with the space and brings the magic of North Africa to life.
